Jack Lentfer oral history interview as conducted by John Cornely. Mr. Lentfer started working for the Montana Fish and Game, then to Alaska to work for River Basin Studies, then the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. He has served on the Marine Mammal Commission as a commissioner. an Earth Watch volunteer, and also worked on the Polar Bear Treaty Act. Mr. Lentfer worked on the following projects while in Alaska: identified fish species and distribution in Yukon River prior to water development projects; planted rainbow trout in a lake across from Kachemak Bay; in Homer, Alaska worked on a weir on the Anchor River monitoring salmon; River Basin Studies on the Susitna River; Copper River spawning ground surveys on salmon; Bradley Lake Project concerning propose dam; Grayling Study on Chatanika River; polar bear work.
