Draft Compatibility Determination for Natural Resource Development, Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge

We propose to allow the Raft River Recharge Group (RRRG) to install, operate, and maintain a portion of the Raft River Flood Protection and Groundwater Recharge Project within Minidoka National Wildlife Refuge in order to reduce the frequency and severity of flooding events along the Raft River and tributaries; reduce sedimentation and improve water quality within the Snake River; provide groundwater recharge to a designated Critical Ground Water Area; and provide a reliable and sustainable agricultural water supply for RRRG members and agricultural producers.
