The Chamberlain's Dwarf Salamander is small, about 4 inches long. It can be found in wetlands, streams, and seepages in the Piedmont of South Carolina. Very little is known about this easily hidden species, but we're working with partners to gain a better understanding of its life cycle and behavior.
