Overview of the Remapping Project

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) prepared three draft revised maps dated November 10, 2014, for three existing and two proposed new CBRS units in Collier County, Florida: Cape Romano Unit P15/P15P, Keewaydin Island Unit P16/P16P, and Tigertail Unit FL-63P. 

Following a 45-day public review period that ended in March 2015, the Service submitted and transmitted final recommended maps to Congress dated April 10, 2015.

The revised final recommended maps were adopted by Congress through Public Law 114-128 on February 29, 2016.
