Baskett Slough and Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuges and Richard J. Guadagno

At Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon, top, a trail and an observation platform are dedicated to Richard J. Guadagno. He worked there from 1992 to 2000 as a manager and federal wildlife officer. At Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, bottom, in his home state of New Jersey, a pavilion and plaque honor him. Guadagno began his career there in the 1980s.
