A photo contest with adult and student categories will be held for the Wings Over Muscatatuck Festival. Two photo subjects will be allowed- Birds of Indiana and Birds of Other Places. Entries must be prints not more than 11" x 14" in size that are matted on cardboard with no wires of frames but ready to hang (velcro will be applied to back by staff). Prints cannot be significantly altered beyond cropping and lighting/darkening. No names may appear on the front of the print and entry form must be attached to back (form can be obtained by emailing Muscatatuck@fws.gov or picked up at Visitor Center). Only 2 entries are permitted per person and previous winning entries are ineligible. Prints must be delivered to Muscatatuck NWR by 4 pm on May 11 to be included in the contest. Ribbons will be awarded and winning photos will be published in the Duck Tales Newsletter and may be used in the Wings Over Muscatatuck Festival brochure.
The contest is for non-commercial photographers only but other photographers may display 2 entries non-competitively. All entries will be on display at the refuge Visitor Center during the Wings Over Muscatatuck Festival. For questions email Muscatatuck@fws.gov.
