Join us for a rewarding morning of environmental stewardship at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Join other volunteers to help restore habitat by removing invasive species invasive species
An invasive species is any plant or animal that has spread or been introduced into a new area where they are, or could, cause harm to the environment, economy, or human, animal, or plant health. Their unwelcome presence can destroy ecosystems and cost millions of dollars.

and cleaning up litter. This is a great opportunity to give back to nature, enjoy the outdoors, and make a tangible impact for wildlife. 

✔ All tools will be provided, but please bring your own gloves.

✔ Light snacks will be provided—bring a water bottle!

Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

✔ Bring sunscreen, a hat, and any personal supplies you may need.

✔ The refuge requires a signed volunteer waiver for all participants.
