In celebration of Urban Wildlife Refuge Day, we invite you to Walk for the Wild! The Friends of the Bear River Refuge (Friends) are hosting a Walk for the Wild event to celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week, October 8 - 15, 2022. Saturday, October 8 from 10:00am - 4:00pm, you will have the chance to take a self-guided 5K walk along one of Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge's trails while helping to raise awareness and support for National Wildlife Refuges & their partners. Puddles, the blue goose, will be in the Wildlife Education Center or on the trails from:10:30-11:00, 12:30-1:00, and 2:30-3:00.
