On Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, the entrance gate for the Salmon Creek Unit and Shorebird Loop Trail will open at 6:45 a.m.
Coffee and snacks available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Come take a walk and view the wetland habitats of Southern Humboldt Bay at sunrise and maybe see hundreds of Aleutian Cackling Geese lift off their night time roosts.
On Sunday ONLY, paint a waterfowl cut-out silhouette to take home. Drop-in anytime between 8am and 4pm. All materials provided.
