Explore interpretive tables to learn more about the wildlife that make up the refuge. Complete the scavenger hunt or just check it out!
Oak Woodland: Learn about our oak habitat and all of the organisms that call it home. You'll get a close up look at oak galls, and hear about what oak trees do for the ecosystem.
Rock Creek: Check out field guides, binoculars, and pelts with a volunteer. Learn about the different things that live here, which ones you might see on your visit, and how to spot them.
Scopes: Use scopes and binoculars out by the wetlands, and learn about all of the birds that live on, and fly past, the refuge.
Pond Study: Meet some of the real live invertebrates that swim around in the water, and learn about all of the things they do for their environment.
Complete a scavenger hunt on your visit, and win a prize! This event is family friendly.
