In recognition of National Wildlife Refuge week, Sunday, October 9th will be a fee free day for visitors. For this Sunday, the DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center will also be open from 12:00 pm to 4:30pm. At this time the Bertrand Steamboat and the wildlife exhibits will be open for visitors to observe.
