Senior's Fishing Derby

We are trying something new this year. We have moved the Senior Fishing Day to the end of September to try and beat the heat, and to celebrate National Public Lands Day. This fishing derby is open to Senior citizens aged 62 and over and individuals of any age with a permanent disability. Registration begins at 8:00am, free fishing runs from 9:00 am - 12:00pm. Free hot dog lunch served. Fishing tackle and bait are provided. There is no license or tag required. There is a four trout limit and no catch and release allowed. We provide everything you need for a fun day. Volunteers will clean your catch and pack them on ice. Please bring a cooler to take your fish home. Please bring your own chair. No personal fishing gear allowed to prevent possible contamination of our waters.
