The film "Wildtail: America's Wildest Success Story" explores the journey of white-tailed deer in America from near extinction to 30 million today. Scientists, elected officials, media personalities and more recount the whitetail’s story with beautiful closeups of deer in natural habitats. Watch a compelling narrative about humans and the future of America’s native wildlife. Our speakers will be from the Meade Natural Heritage Association. The program will cover white-tailed deer recovery in the United States and deer hunting on Patuxent Research Refuge.
