Native-Led Walk - an Iroquois Observations Program - Preregistration required

Join Marve Jacobs, Seneca  Elder and Volunteer Naturalist, for an afternoon of indigenous storytelling and medicinal plant knowledge while taking a stroll through the Headquarters Trail. This trail will wind through grassland, forest, and marsh habitats with a variety of wildlife to be seen.

Registration Information: Pre-registration is required. Send an email to logan_sauer@fws.gov or call/leave a message at 612-759-8662.

Activity level and Accessibility: Easy-active, ADA accessible 1-mile gravel trail with an overall flat terrain. Restrooms and water fountains are located at the Visitor Center. There are no rest benches or rest areas along this route.

What to bring: If you have them, bring binoculars and favorite field guide. These items are also available to check-out at no cost at the front desk. This program is entirely outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. Cancellation notices will appear on Facebook and to any provided contact information from the registration process.
