National Public Lands Day Volunteer Work Day

A National Public Lands Day Volunteer Work Day will be held Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9 am- 2 pm at the Visitor Center. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome, and staying the entire day is not required. Work projects will include invasive species invasive species
An invasive species is any plant or animal that has spread or been introduced into a new area where they are, or could, cause harm to the environment, economy, or human, animal, or plant health. Their unwelcome presence can destroy ecosystems and cost millions of dollars.
