Modern Hunting Ammunition - Opportunities for Hunters and Wildlife Conservation

Join us after your morning hunt or before your afternoon sit for a discussion and demonstration about lead-free hunting ammunition on Sunday, September 29 from 9AM to 3PM with the North American Non-lead Partnership at Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge.

Share your experiences with hunting, conservation, and hunting ammunition and learn about what's happening on a landscape scale to address lead impacts on wildlife across the nation. This workshop will include a classroom discussion as well as a range demonstration to compare different types of hunting ammunition. We will also share information on a new opportunity for you to participate in an incentive program to help you consider voluntary use of lead free ammunition for hunting.

Lunch will be provided.
