Birding For Beginners - Saturday July 16th at 1:00 pm Starting in the Visitor Center.
Junior Rangers will join refuge rangers as we explore the more common and distinct bird species out on the trails. Learn what makes them unique from the other species as we explore! Binoculars will be available first come first serve.
Habitat Investigations - Saturday July, 23rd at 1:00 pm Starting in the Visitor Center.
Junior Rangers will join refuge rangers as we explore the different habitats that DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge has to offer visitors throughout the year.
There will be a bit of walking during this event so be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
Exploring Pollinators - Saturday July, 30th at 1:00 pm Starting in the Visitor Center.
Junior Rangers will join refuge rangers as we explore the pollinators that use the different flora at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge. Please be sure to wear long pants and socks during this event!
