Join us for the launch of the our Junior Wildlife Ranger booklet!
Ha’ånen Litekyan, or Ritidian Day, is a free public event for the community to enjoy and appreciate Ritidian’s natural and cultural heritage. The activity booklet is recommended for ages five to twelve years old, but all ages are welcome. Each participant will receive the new Junior Wildlife Ranger activity book and visit staffed check points to complete the booklet to get a small prize.
Participants will visit marked check points with staff around the Ritidian Nature Center, specified walking trails, or beach areas. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for safety. Participants should bring water, wear shoes, bring mosquito repellant, and sun protection. Pencils and other materials to complete the activity book will be provided.
