Join us at the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge for some October nighttime fun! We will provide red lanterns to help light our way on the nature trail, their red light is perfect to help us see at night while not disturbing the wildlife, and along the way we’ll learn with a park ranger about how animals are adapted to life at night. We will also try to call in an owl! The Refuge Center will be open this special evening for visitation, each youth participant will receive a bag with fun nocturnal nature themed trinkets and craft project.
Participants will be placed within groups for the activities upon arrival. In case of inclement weather the event will be restructured for indoor fun.
