Festival of the Cranes at Wheeler NWR

The Festival of the Cranes at Wheeler NWR is put on by the Friends of Wheeler NWR (Wheeler Wildlife Refuge Association) in partnership with various community partners in downtown Decatur.  Bird watching and bird walks will take place at the refuge Visitor Center Area, while children's activities, concerts, art shows, workshops, special speakers, and presentations will take place at various venues in downtown Decatur.

Please visit www.friendsofwheelernwr.org for the most up-to-date schedule of events.  Most events are free-of-charge, tickets for the Three on a String Concert and the Steve Trash Show can be purchased at https://www.princesstheatre.org/.  Events at the Cook Museum of Natural Science may also require the purchase of admission.
