An annual celebration of the return of the overwintering sandhill cranes, snow geese, and ducks to the Middle Rio Grande Valley. Experience thousands of sandhill cranes, snow geese, ducks, and other birds as they overwinter at Bosque del Apache (and surrounding areas). The Friends of Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge coordinate this event, which includes over 100 unique birding and photography workshops, tours, hikes, and more! Registration opens in October 2025.
