Join us for a fun day of fishing and outdoor adventure at Ringneck Marsh at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge! This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, learn about local fish, and enjoy one of America’s favorite outdoor traditions. Staff from Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and the Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office will be on hand to help participants learn the basics of fishing, including casting techniques, fish identification, and how healthy wetlands support fish populations. Whether you are brand new to fishing or already love to cast a line, our staff will be there to offer tips and answer questions.

Location: Ringneck Marsh off of Oak Orchard Ridge Rd. at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge. 11412 Oak Orchard Ridge Road, Medina, NY 14103

Accessibility & Things to know: Porta potty and hand washing station will be available. Water for drinking will also be available at no cost. Food will be available for purchase. This program will be held entirely outdoors, bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle.
