Conservation Connect Series: The World of the Freshwater Mussel

What is the most endangered group of animals in North America?  Freshwater Mussels...an amazing array of little-seen creatures living on the bottom of a stream near you.  Join us on Conservation Connect Live! Thursday, October 13th at 1 pm EDT, as we peer into the secret life of these fascinating and beautiful members of the riverine community.  Leading scientists in mussel research and propagation will join us to discuss the latest conservation work and technical advances in restoring these intricate pieces of the stream web of life.  Make sure to tune in to the NCTC Livestream for this peek into the world of the freshwater mussel.
