Conservation Connect Series: The USFWS Honor Guard

When Fish and Wildlife Service employees die in the line of duty, the service has a very special way of recognizing their life and work - the service Honor Guard.  Many don't know about it, but this small, ceremonial unit is made up of volunteers from the service's Fire and Law Enforcement programs.  They perform ceremonial duties at funerals as well as refuge dedications and other memorial events.  We'll be profiling the work of the service Honor Guard in this week's Conservation Connect Live!
