This is the second year the Christmas Bird Count is being held around Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge. Participants should contact refuge biologist, Brandon Semel (brandon_semel@fws.gov), if they are interested in participating so we can plan accordingly. We will be meeting at the refuge headquarters in Odessa at 7 am before splitting into groups. We will hold a final tally at Lingonberry's in Ortonville, MN. Birders of all skill levels are welcome.
