Celebrate Urban Wildlife Conservation Day with a special candlelight luminary walk and chalk party at Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. At dark, participants can walk our luminary trail loop and enjoy hot chocolate! Families and individuals are also invited to share their creative side through nature-themed chalk drawings on our parking lot. Registration is not required, but you can reserve a parking space to decorate with chalk art!

Location: Bloomington Education and Visitor Center - 3815 American Blvd. E, Bloomington, MN 55425
Registration Information: 17 parking spots for chalk art open for reservations through SignUp.
Activity Level: Easy - self led activity with chalk, 0.25 mile walk on paved, flat trail.
Meet Us: Meet us at the main entrance of the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center.
What to Bring: Bring a water bottle or mug for some hot chocolate!
Accessibility: Restrooms, fireplace, and a water fountain are available inside the visitor center. This program will meet and end inside the visitor center.
