Campfire Storytime at North Tract

6:30 PM - 8 PM

What do animals do in winter?

Join the Maryland City Library for a special storytime, then enjoy a Patuxent Research Refuge Ranger-led hike or other activities to learn how animals prepare for and survive the winter. We'll finish up with a campfire and marshmallows!

This event will be held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for walking and being outdoors. Geared toward ages 5 and up but the young and young at heart are all welcome!

Meet at the entrance gate. Since the Refuge is only open to program attendees on this date, the Ranger will let everyone in at once.  Participants must arrive at the gate by 6:30 pm - late arrivals will not be allowed access.
