With Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge covering over 14,000 acres, there are more than 45 miles of trails to discover! Join us on our beginner hiker series as we explore the trails together. No prior experience needed and no special equipment required.

Location: Lyndale - Sorensen Landing, 11135 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55420
Registration Information: 10 walk in spots available and 15 spots open for voluntary registration through SignUp
Activity Level: Medium-active, we will walk at a good walking pace and make some stops.
Meet Us: Meet us by the kiosk at the Lyndale-Sorensen Landing parking lot.
What to Bring: Good walking shoes, water, and bug spray/sunscreen if you have it. Monitor weather forecast and be prepared for the temperature and precipitation. A cancellation notice will be sent via email to registered participants in the event of severe weather. If you are not registered, please monitor our website, MeetUp and Facebook pages for a cancellation notice.
Accessibility: This walk takes place on mostly flat ground along the paved Minnesota Valley State Trail. We will walk about 3.2 miles. Restroom facilities and water are not available at this location.
