30th Anniversary Celebration!

This is a special event to celebrate 30 years since the establishment of the refuge in 1992.

Join staff-guided tours for exclusive 'behind-the-scenes' pedestrian access to Woodman Point* and Lower Peverly Brook. Learn about the former Weapons Storage Area, previously a storage site for strategic nuclear weapons and currently a critical piece in the restoration of state-endangered New England cottontail. Stroll the pollinator garden and learn about the importance of pollinator-friendly landscapes. Examine the history of the refuge through new interpretive displays.

Please no bikes (on trails) and no pets. No preregistration required; simply show up!

*Active archery hunting area to Woodman Point; wearing blaze orange is encouraged
