Okaloosa Darter On the Road to Recovery

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is reclassifying the Okaloosa darter (Etheostoma okaloosae) from the status of endangered to threatened under the Endangered Species Act, saying that the population is being managed so well, the small fish is making major strides in its fight for recovery.
