Second Saturday at McNary National Wildlife Refuge
Observe the numerous gatherings of geese, ducks, swans, and other migratory birds and learn about the annual Great Backyard Bird Count. If weather permits, visitors can observe mist netting for birds and bird banding. Binoculars, bird lists, and a spotting scope will be available for close-up viewing. Join us at McNary National Wildlife Refuge for Second Saturday on Saturday, February 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Mid-Columbia River Wildlife Refuges and is free to the public.

The McNary National Wildlife Refuge Education Center is located at 311 Lake Road in Burbank, WA. From the Tri-Cities, go east on I-182 and US Highway 12 to Burbank. At the Humorist Road stoplight, turn left. Turn left on Lake Road and travel 1/2 mile to the Education Center on the left. For more information, call 509-546-8300.
