Dan Bjornlie

Dan began serving as the FWS Walrus and Sea Otter program lead in 2023.  Prior to joining the Service, he worked as a Large Carnivore Biologist for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, leading grizzly and black bear research, monitoring, and management.  He has a B.S. in ecology from Michigan Tech University and a M.S. in Fish and Wildlife Ecology from Montana State University.
