About Catherine R. Stanley

Catherine R. Stanley holds a B.S in Environmental Policy and Decision Making from Ohio State University. In her career, Catherine has served in federal roles as a Forestry Technician at the U.S Forest Service and a Natural Resource Specialist with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. She has also worked within the non-profit sector as a Land Steward for the Big Sur Land Trust. She began her current 11-month term of service as a GIS Intern at the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service in November 2023. In her free time Catherine enjoys volunteering at her local pottery studio, as well as snowboarding, backpacking and rock climbing with her partner around their home in Santa Fe, NM and across the Western U.S.
