"The US Fish and Wildlife Service is proud to be a part of a collaboration that brings nature and communities together.” said Benjamin Tuggle, the Service’s Southwest Regional Director. “Through collaborative visioning and lots of hard work with our many partners, Valle de Oro is a community driven effort that will serve wildlife and people. As we continue our conservation journey this urban wildlife refuge will be a source of pride where this community, and especially our youth, can experience nature in their own backyard."
