The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Arizona Game and Fish Department released a pair of Mexican wolves Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area of Arizona. The new pair is the hopeful start of the “Hoodoo pack.” A second pair is slated for release next week. Each pair contain a genetically valuable female from the captive population and a wild-savvy male collected from the field in January.
