PROPOSALS TO CHANGE THE 2015 MIGRATORY BIRD SUBSISTENCE HARVEST IN ALASKA

This is a reminder that the annual period to submit proposals to change migratory bird subsistence harvest regulations for the 2015 April-August season opens on November 1 and extends through December 15, 2013. Forms and instructions are available on the web at http://alaska.fws.gov/ambcc/regulations.htm.

Petitions will also be accepted during this open period to request a change in “included/ excluded” community status for the 2015 harvest season. A detailed description of the process for community petitioning is available on the website above.

All proposals and petitions received to change 2015 harvest regulations will be reviewed and acted on by the Alaska Migratory Bird Co-Management Council at their April 2014 meeting
