Endangered Species Act Protection for the American Pika Is Not Warranted
Although the American pika is potentially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change climate change

Though there have been previous periods of climatic change, since the mid-20th century humans have had an unprecedented impact on Earth's climate system and caused change on a global scale.

Pikas will have enough suitable high elevation habitat to prevent them from becoming threatened or endangered.
