Pacific Northwestern bunchgrass prairie is a once common ecosystem that is now quite rare. The Zumwalt Prairie Preserve is the largest remaining, intact remnant of PNW bunchgrass prairie and is now managed by The Nature Conservancy. Diverse and abundant wildflower blooms make for great resources for bees.
