Wild lupine

Wild blue lupine is the only food for the Karner blue butterfly's caterpillar. Habitat loss has led to the decline in plants, and put the Karner Blue on the endangered species list. Wild lupine is a perennial plant in the pea family with beautiful pink to blue flowers.
