The Ventura Fish and Wildlife Office’s programmatic consultation with the US Army Corps of Engineers for projects that may affect the California red-legged frog or its critical habitat. This programmatic biological opinion addresses certain activities authorized by the Corps pursuant to the Clean Water Act and Rivers and Harbors Act within the Ventura Fish and Wildlife Office’s area of responsibility in San Benito, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties, California. It is intended for projects that are fairly small in scope and duration and have less than one half (0.5) acre of temporary impacts and/or less than one half (0.5) acre permanent impacts in the Corps’ permit area.
