Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery Superintendent Hubert C. Topel Sorting Bass Fry in 1949

Man leaning over a medium-sized tank filled with water - the concrete side walls come up to just below his waist-level. He is holding (with both hands) a small rectangular box with low side walls and an open top (it's used to grade the immature fish); the box is just on top of the water's surface. a medium-sized net, rectangular in shape, and mounted on a pole, is placed across the tank to his left. Water is pouring into the tank from a spigot mounted on the back wall of said tank.
