As discussed in the proposed Incidental Harassment Authorization, the Service conducted an analysis using models to evaluate potential impacts of the BLM’s legacy well remediation activities on polar bears. A description of the modeling is contained within the Federal Register notice (88 FR 28428). The Service is also providing the models used for these analyses along with associate spatial files, R code, and calculations in our analyses.
