A small "century trail" between Karluk and Frazer Lakes at Kodiak Refuge in Alaska
Indelible prints on the landscape, created when bears place their feet in the same tracks over many generations, form in the subalpine tundra across several of Kodiak's mountain ridges. These are sometimes called "century trails."
