SLOPES shall apply to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), Gulf of

Mexico (GOM) Regional Office and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Louisiana

Ecological Services Office (the Service) herein sometimes referred to individually as

“Party” and collectively as the “Parties,” for BOEM-authorized activities in the Gulf

of Mexico (GOM; see Figure 1). Nothing in these procedures shall supersede the terms

and conditions of previously issued biological opinions between the parties.
