Seabirds at Johnston Atoll National Wildlife Refuge

Magnificent frigatebirds and red-footed boobies nest and rest in the same low-lying bushes and trees at Johnston Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge supports 15 nesting seabird species, including the world's largest known colony of red-tailed tropicbirds.
