Scaber stalk mushroom

Scaber stalks are considered an edible mushroom by some. However, if you are a mushroom hunter, please remember the importance of knowing what you are picking. A tip is to learn poisonous look-alikes to ensure that what you are eating is in fact edible. Additionally, different types of mushrooms can impact individuals uniquely. A good rule of thumb is to always err on the side of caution.
