Heavy rains in late December 2010 left many of the roads in nearly impassable condition due to washouts and debris in the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Visitiors were advised to avoid the damaged roads. If deciding to travel through the Refuge, drivers would be at their own risk. Image taken from USFWS Pacific Southwest Region Flickr page.
