A map showing the proposed Conservation Area boundary in southwest Montana. The proposed project area includes all of Beaverhead County and the portion of Madison County west of highway 287. It also includes small portions of southern Deer Lodge, Silver Bow and Jefferson counties roughly following an east to west line from Whitehall, Montana, then west on Interstate 90 to the Continental Divide and continuing to the Idaho and Montana border
