Four-panel educational comic titled “The Pollinator Bunch Go House Hunting – 1” by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. A ruby-throated hummingbird acts as a host on a nature show called “Habitat Hunters.” The show is set outdoors with flowers, grass and trees throughout the landscape. The hummingbird welcomes a group of bees and says it will help them find new homes. Several American bumble bees review a checklist of habitat needs while surveying a patch of land. The list includes abundant flowers throughout the season, grass clumps for nesting sites, and decaying wood for hibernating queens. The patch of land meets all their criteria, and the hummingbird expresses its enthusiasm that the bumble bees approve of the habitat. A mason bee points out that not all bees live in the same habitats. A thought bubble appears above the hummingbird's head showing a bee house with many small nesting holes, and the hummingbird says, “I’m thinking condo!” A caption at the bottom reads, “Next time on Habitat Hunters – Bees’ Delight.”
