Four-panel educational comic titled “The Pollinator Bunch Go House Hunting – 2” by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The scene is set outdoors in a cherry orchard with flowers, trees, grass and a path throughout the landscape and a wooden bee house, called a “bee condo.” A ruby-throated hummingbird shows blooming wildflowers and explains that flowers will be available throughout spring, summer, and fall. Two flat-tailed leafcutter bees and a blue orchard mason bee inspect the area. The bees are excited about the many flowers for food and the hollow plant stems that can be used for nesting. The bees gather around the bee condo and discuss moving in. A thought bubble shows a leafcutter bee, referring to its use of cut leaves for nesting. A monarch caterpillar rests on a plant among pink flowers and says there is no milkweed available, which it needs as food. The hummingbird responds by offering to help find a small home. A caption reads, “Next time on Habitat Hunters – Monarch Mini-Mansion.”
